The film got a lot of positive feedback, especially from the young audience to which the film caters the most. My views on the film are pretty much in sync with critics. A pretty average film it is.

Three room-mates, Rajat nick Rajjo (Kartikeya Tiwari), Nishant nick Liquid (Divyendu Sharma) and Vikrant nick Chowdhary (Rayo Bakhirta) are bachelor's and leading a life they feel isnt interesting, until a girl comes into the life of each of them. But the happiness is short-lived as soon they realize, the bachelor life was much more fun.

In such a film where you are gonna put 3 girls pretty much in a anti-mode, where the boys will get stuck and act like they make them do.. two things become essential. One is, the structure or the way you narrate this whole story.. and second is the editing, how quickly you show a particular scene repeat, instead of showing it in a repetitive manner. The film lacks in both these departments. Screenplay is too weak and pretty much predictable, a simple narrative. What actually happens is, that a point comes when you question the boys 'How long are you going to be like a dog roaming around those girls?'.

The director takes way too long to come to the climax, atleast 20-25 mins long film. What's impressive in the film is the bonding the three guys share with each other, and their performances especially Rajjo and Liquid. The starting scene of Liquid, with his outburst first at room, and then at dhaba is terrific. While Rajat's 5-7 mins long monologue is outstanding in the 2nd half. Last time, it was probably amitabh in Rann who had 10 mins long monologue. To do well in such a sequence really requires a great acting skills.

Also, special mention to the way 'Kuch keh rahi hai zindagi' song is picturised, one of very well thought of part in the film like Chowdhary scene of smoking in the rain, Liquid watching shouting himself in the mirror, then running from a call girl place probably, and Rajjo two way behavior - old self laughing in car but real now not caring, old self sitting with her at sofa, but real now destroying everything.

There are few good moments after intervals in the film, for instance the way Neha (Nushrat Bharucha) makes Rajjo take her with him to Goa, or the one where Charu (Ishita Sharma) gets a apartment using Liquid's money, the song Liquid sings when they are sort of competiting with Neha at a place and the background of 'ban gaya kutta' as a crying dog's voice is played when for first time the real side of all girls one by one is shown.

The glassy song was totally not needed, koi aa raha paas hai was well used. There are lots of dull moments in 2nd half as the first half was quite entertaining to certain extent, with some good dialogues.. Specially, that scene 'I love you babu, and I am sorry, and I love you'.

Among the girls, Nushrat Bharucha was the best of the lot (remember shruti of Love sex and Dhokha). I didnt find Rhea's (Sonalli Sehgal) role much interesting while Charu (Ishita Sharma) was pretty average.

I feel the realization that the girls are just using them, comes bit too late for all the boys. Overall, Pyar ka Punchnama works only in parts for me, and for the three male lead's chemistry.

Verdict : Average
